Guwahati: Renowned vlogger and YouTube influencer, Karl Rock alias Karl Edward Rice has alleged that he has been blacklisted by the Government of India, and his entry to India has also been barred as his visa has been revoked.
The Union Home Ministry stated that he has been barred from entering the country because he allegedly violated his visa norms. There Union Home Ministry stated that the YouTuber has been conducting business-related activities on a tourist visa. As per the norms of the visa provided to Karl, he is supposed to exit India every 180 days.
Karl who is from New Zealand is married to an Indian named Manisha Malik since 2019 and now due to him being banned from entering India, Karl has claimed that he has not been able to meet his wife for the past eight months.

Based on Karl’s visa guidelines, he left India on October 10, 2020. He went to Dubai directly from India and then he went to Pakistan. After that when Karl had asked for an Indian visa extension on December 27, 2020, Karl was told that he had been blacklisted.
As per reports, Karl has been blacklisted for a year by the government.
Karl and his wife live in Delhi’s Pitam Pura area. Currently, Karl and his wife have taken legal steps against the issue. Karl has over 1.8 lakh followers on YouTube and he makes videos on topics related to travel and how to avoid being scammed.
