Karnataka CM asked Indian embassy to recover student’s body

While addressing to the media, Bommai said “We have images of Naveen’s body. The clothing is similar and it was sent from Ukraine by Naveen’s friends. They took the pictures when the shelling stopped. Regarding serious attempts to retrieve Naveen’s body, I shall speak with Union Minister for External Affairs S. Jaishankar as well as the Indian embassy in Ukraine”.
“I’ve requested that the Indian embassy get the body first, and then transport it later.” I’ve forwarded the images to the Ministry of External Affairs, but they have yet to confirm receipt.
The Indian government has stepped up the evacuation effort. In the next two to three days, a total of 26 aircraft will be put into action to return Indian students. CM Bommai stated, “I will strive to push as many students from Karnataka as feasible.”
Students from many regions have been asked to travel to safe zones from war zones. It’s tough to get a clear picture of anything in a battle zone. According to him, the Indian government has communicated with the Ukrainian government about relocating Indian students to safer zones.
CM Bommai also claimed that an evacuation plan had been devised. The Indian kids are being given instructions for collective movement. In this case, instructions are given. He explained that the students will be gradually removed from the combat zone.
He stated that the government’s top priority is to bring back the body of deceased Naveen. “Then the family will undoubtedly be compensated. The family is requesting that their son’s body be returned to them. We’re making an effort “he stated.
He slammed the opposition Congress, saying that there were multiple war situations during the UPA government’s tenure, but not a single individual was brought back to India. “No other country has undertaken such a large-scale evacuation operation as ours. In the next 72 hours, 26 aircraft carrying Indian students will arrive. Evacuation drills are held on a regular basis “he explained.
It needs to be mentioned that Harsha, the dead Naveen’s brother stated on Wednesday that no one had confirmed to the family when his brother’s remains will be returned to India. “His body needs to be returned to us. His buddies are resurfacing, and we’re dealing with the news of his death “he stated Naveen’s father, Shekarappa, stated that he had lost his son and requested that the authorities send back other youngsters alive to India. “Hundreds of thousands of students are stranded in Ukraine; they are valuable assets to our country. They should be safely returned “he stated.
