Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Four Assam students safely reach India
Guwahati: Four more from Assam who were stuck in Ukraine have been evacuated by the Ministry of External Affairs and they have arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The four students arrived at the Delhi airport this morning on flight 6E 12 from Istanbul.
Gurpreet Kaur of Silchar, Dhritiman Victor Bhuyan of Kokrajhar, Panchi Mohan of Guwahati, and Anisha Gogoi of Jagun in Margherita are among the students who have been evacuated today.
On their arrival in New Delhi, authorities from Assam Bhawan greeted them.
Gurpreet Kaur would remain in Delhi with her local guardian. Dhritiman, Panchi Mohan, and Anisha have been placed in Assam House in the meantime.
Meanwhile, the authorities will arrange their air travel accordingly.
