Guwahati: Former Kerala Health Minister M P Govindan breathed his last at the age of 94 at his residence on Wednesday.
According to reports, Nair died due of age-related ailments.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed his condolences on the passing of Nair, who served as the state’s Health Minister from 1962 to 1964 under the Congress’ administration.
He was a Member of Parliament and the President of the Travancore Devaswom Board before retiring from active politics.
