Guwahati: Two insurgents belonging to different banned outfits in Manipur have been arrested by security forces in separate joint operations, official said on Saturday.
Based on specific inputs, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Manipur police apprehended two different militant outfits in Manipur’s Bishnupur at Koireng and Thangal, Noney District on Wednesday.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Assam Rifles wrote, “ASSAM RIFLES APPREHENDS KYKL AND NSCN (K) TERRORISTS IN MANIPUR #AssamRifles, on 23 Mar 2022, in two different joint operations with Manipur Police apprehended two terrorists of KYKL and NSCN (K) in Koireng, Bishnupur & Thangal, Noney District, Manipur.”
