Guwahati: Laishram Rameshwor Singh, the general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur ex-servicemen cell was shot and killed on January 24 in front of his home in Thoubal Kshetri Leikai by unidentified miscreants.
According to the police, the incident occurred between 10:20 to 11:30 a.m.
He was taken to Raj Medical City but at around 1 o’clock he passed away due to his severe injuries.
The police have currently started an inquiry into the entire incident and are looking into every possible way to find the culprits.
