Guwahati: Amid Magh Bihu Celebrations, the officer in charge of the Latasil Police Station in Guwahati was injured along with the driver of the police car involved in the collision on Sunday in Ganeshguri.
The OC has been identified as Nitul Das.
According to reports, it is being suspected that the driver of the police car was under the influence of alcohol leading to the incident.
The vehicle involved in the collision is a Mahindra Bolero with the licence plate AS 30 9253. Both the driver and the police official were injured in the accident.
