Guwahati, 31st July: Tragedy struck the city as a heated altercation over unpaid dues escalated into a fatal incident, leaving a man dead. The shocking incident unfolded on Saturday night in the Chabipul locality of Guwahati.
The lifeless body of the victim, identified as Saddam Ali, was discovered in a remote area covered by hyacinths in Guwahati’s Fatasil Ambari locality. It is believed that the confrontation took a deadly turn, leading to the tragic demise of Saddam.
Adding to the grimness of the situation, the two-wheeler belonging to the deceased was found beneath the Aathgaon Flyover, indicating the severity of the altercation.
The prime suspect in this harrowing incident is Hakim Ali, who stands accused of inflicting fatal injuries on Saddam Ali.
Upon receiving reports of the incident, a team of city police rushed to the location and promptly sent the victim’s body for a post-mortem examination.
