Guwahati: One person has been crushed to death on spot by a train in Sonitpur district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 11 am at the rail tracks near Towbhanga in Jamugurihat.
However, identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Jamuguri Police reached the site and sent the body for post-mortem reports
It needs to be mentioned that police officials are trying to establish the person’s identity.
