Guwahati: An official claimed a massive fire broke out at a rubber business in the Pawne industrial district of Navi Mumbai Friday evening.
He said the fire was reported around 4 p.m. at the unit in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area, and eight fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.
The source stated that firefighting activities were ongoing.
Social media users shared photos of plumes of black smoke rising from the plant.
