Some miscreants have attacked the house of Bharat Ratna Club Secretary, Pradyut Dhar Chowdhury in an adjacent area at Agartala Airport Road last night. The miscreants had earlier demanded Rs 5 lakh from Pradyut Dhar Chowdhury but when he refused to pay, his house was vandalized by the miscreants and all the belongings of Pradyut Dhar Chowdhury’s house and all the money and gold belongings were looted by the miscreants.
The victim was threatened with death with a pistol and last night arrested and he lodged an FIR in Agartala Airport Police Station in the name of the perpetrators . It is learned that the names of the miscreants, Santu Sarkar, Amit Ghosh, Sudip Dhar, and Ajit Sarkar, Police are continuing search and initial investigation is on regarding the matter.
