Guwahati: Jignesh Mevani arrested again in a new case in Barpeta. Jignesh arrested again under case No. 81/22.
Cases are registered under 294/323/353/354 of the Indian Penal Code Act. Jignesh Miwani is taken from Kokrajhar Jail to Barpeta.
Jignesh was arrested in a new case even though bail was granted against the case pending at Kokrajhar Sadar police station.
Barpeta police arrested him and took him from Kokrajhar to Barpeta.
It is not predictable that what will be next done MLA Jignesh Miwani.
It maybe mentioned that a local court in Assam’s Kokrajhar district has granted bail to Gujarat MLA Jignesh , who was arrested by Assam Police over tweets on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mevani was apprehended at a Palanpur Circuit House around 11.30 p.m. on Wednesday and taken to Assam’s Kokrajhar.
It may be mentioned that he was charged with criminal conspiracy, encouraging hostility between communities, intentional insult with the goal to create a breach of peace, and sections of the Information Technology Act, according to police in Kokrajhar.
