Chhattisgarh: Man wrote message to the girl he loved before hanging himself to death, told in the message that his death was his wedding gift to her. The incident took place in Chhattisgarh’s Balod district.
As per the reports, the young man was in love with a female who had no feelings for him. He was deeply hurt and depressed when he learned that plans for her wedding were in the works.
Explaining his feelings, the young man scribbled “my death is your wedding gift, I love you” in charcoal on the wall of his room. He then made a video of himself hanging a noose over his neck in his room. He then committed suicide after posting the footage as his WhatsApp status.
It may be mentioned that the body has been submitted for a post mortem, Balod DSP Prateek Chaturvedi, informed. The man’s video, which he shared on WhatsApp, is also being probed. He stated that whenever additional details are revealed, legal action would be done.
