Nagaland CM: We need to find a Naga solution which we could not conclude

Guwahati: Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio on February 14 said that the administration would address a solution to the unresolved Naga political issue since it was determined to finding a permanent resolution.

“We need to find a Naga solution which we could not conclude. Otherwise we are all together for Naga solution,” Rio said this while speaking during the party’s poll progamme in Kohima.

BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda travelled to Kohima in Nagaland on February 14 to present the party’s election platform ahead of the next Assembly elections, which are scheduled for February 27.

Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio addressed the crowd and predicted that the NDPP-BJP coalition would triumph with a resounding victory and do much better than before.

Rio stated that everyone is looking forward to a resolution to the Naga political issue and that the government is dedicated to reaching a decision quickly. Rio emphasised the Naga political issue and an impending solution that has remained inconclusive.

Rio, who exuded confidence of a crushing victory, added that the people of the state had given the alliance a great deal of love and support and had placed their faith in the partnership’s ability to win the next elections.

Rio was joined in by Deputy CM Y Patton who said, “The alliance of BJP-NDPP will do better than last time”.

BJP National President JP Nadda will soon release the election manifesto, kicking off the campaign for the Nagaland elections on February 14.
