Guwahati: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) announced its second slate of candidates on February 5 for the upcoming Nagaland assembly elections.
The NPF has announced candidates for six constituencies in Nagaland in its second list.
The NPF declared that if elected to power in Nagaland, it will work to resolve the complex political situation involving the Naga people.
The NPF continued by saying that it was prepared to create an alliance with any party after the election if voted to power in Nagaland.
The NPF said that “post-election demand for solution to Naga political solution will be the pressing need”.
Notably, voting for the 60-member Nagaland legislative assembly will take place on February 27 in a single phase and counting of votes will be conducted on March 2.
