Nagaland Witnesses 13.51% Voter Turnout for Lone Lok Sabha Seat Amid Calls for Abstention

Northeast Desk, 19th April: Nagaland recorded a voter turnout of 13.51 per cent for its solitary Lok Sabha seat by 11 am today, as reported by officials. The voting, which commenced at 7 am, is slated to continue until 4 pm today.

The polling occurred amidst a backdrop of a call by the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) in six districts of the region to abstain from voting, advocating for a separate state.
