Guwahati: At least nine people were grievously injured after their vehicle hit head-on with a dumper truck in Cachar district of Assam on Monday morning.
The incident took place in the Dholai Village in Narsingpur Tehsil area of the district.
According to reports, the victims were in a cruiser car when it collided with the truck.
Locals in the area intervened quickly after the tragedy and brought them to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
