Now, users can use WhatsApp without an internet services

Guwahati: Users will now be able to access WhatsApp because of a new feature that allows them to do so even when nearby mobile internet connections are banned or disabled.

Users can access WhatsApp by connecting through proxy servers set up by volunteers and organisations. WhatsApp will no longer be unable to operate if there is no internet connection.

WhatsApp stated that users will be provided with “high level of privacy and security” and users’ “personal messages will still be protected by end-to-end encryption.” It adds that users’ messages will not be visible to anyone in between, not the proxy servers, WhatsApp or Meta.

Nearly 2 billion people utilise the instant messaging service globally. WhatsApp frequently releases new features, including audio and video conversations, disappearing messages, and constant updates.
