Guwahati: One person was killed while two others sustained severe injuries in a road accident in Assam’s Nalbari district on Saturday.
The incident took place at Bamunbori of the district.
According to reports, they were on their way to college and a dumper hit their two-wheeler.
In the incident, one person died on the spot, and two-person was severely injured and were sent to Guwahati for treatment.
The deceased was identified as Satyajit Nath and the other injured persons were identified as Rahul Nath and Champak Nath.
All of them were students of Swahid Sowarani College of Bamunbori and hailed from Barkhetri of Nalbari district.
It may be mentioned that the dumper truck’s driver surrendered himself and the truck to the Doulakhal police station.
