Parents Refuse to Pay for Baby’s Ticket, Abandon Child at Israel Airport Check-in Counter
Guwahati: In an untoward incident, unidentified parents left their baby at the check-in desk of an airport in Tel Aviv of Israel, because they did not have a ticket for the child.
CNN claimed that the parents left their child behind while they were checking in for a flight on Ryanair from Ben Gurion International Airport to Brussels in Belgium.
Airport security was informed by the check-in counter representative.
According to the report, they caught the passengers and prevented them from boarding the aircraft.
The Ryanair airlines allow infants to be included in a flight reservation during the online booking process. The airlines charge $27 for each one-way flight when a baby rides on an adult’s lap. If the adults want the baby to travel in a seat, separate arrangements are to be made.
The couple was likewise tardy for the flight once the check-in for the flight had closed. The couple abandoned the infant and sprinted for the security checks in an effort to make it to the boarding gate for the flight, the report said.
The matter was resolved by Israel Police and baby is with the parents.
