Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday warned against inflaming racial tensions over language, stating that every regional tongue reflects Indian culture, according to the BJP.
“We’ve seen attempts in recent days to stir up debates based on language differences. Every regional language, according to the BJP reflects Indian culture and is worthy of veneration. In NEP, we have prioritised each regional language “PM Modi made the remarks while virtually addressing a meeting of BJP national office bearers in Jaipur.
He also cautioned party office bearers to be focused on the country’s development challenges.
The Prime Minister further added that the BJP views Indian languages as the nation’s spirit and a path to a brighter future.
“The new National Education Policy prioritises local languages, reflecting our dedication to each regional language. The BJP views Indian languages to represent the nation’s spirit and a connection to a brighter future “PM Modi stated.
