PM Narendra Modi takes Delhi Metro ride to YashoBhoomi Convention Center; dedicates it to country
National Desk, 17th September: Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled by metro to inaugurate the YashoBhoomi convention center in Dwarka, Delhi on his birthday, September 17.
PM Modi was spotted engaging with commuters in the metro on his journey to officially open the first phase of the International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), YashoBhoomi.
Moreover, PM Modi opened the YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line, which runs from Dwarka Sector 21 to a brand-new metro station.
When PM Modi arrived at the YashoBhoomi Convention Center, he met with the artisans and craftspeople.
YashoBhoomi will be one of the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities in the world with a project area of more than 8.9 lakh square meters and a complete built-up area of more than 1.8 lakh square meters.
The main auditorium, a ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms are among the 15 convention rooms in the more than 73,000 square meter convention center, which can accommodate 11,000 attendees in all.
