PM hold talks with BJP leaders over Govt formation in 4 states

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting with the top BJP leaders to discuss over the formation of government party’s win in Manipur, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

Party national president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were among the BJP’s top leaders present at the meeting.

The meeting was held on Sunday at Prime Minister Modi’s house in New Delhi.

According to reports, the BJP’s top leadership briefed Prime Minister Modi on their negotiations with state BJP leaders about forming governments in the four states.

Earlier in the day, the BJP backed N Biren Singh and nominated him as Manipur’s chief minister.

Meanwhile, freshly elected BJP MLAs will be sworn in during a ceremony today at the Uttarakhand Assembly in Dehradun.

Moreover, in Uttar Pradesh the legislative party scheduled on march 14 and the caretaker Chief Minister I likely to be announced CM for the state.

It may be mentioned that Goa, BJP legislative party will meet on Monday to announce the name of the next Chief Minister of the state.
