Python Rescued, Released Into The Wild

Guwahati: A seven-foot-long huge python was rescued from a village in Sivasagar district of Assam on Tuesday.

The incident took place in Banmukh Chutia village of the district

The python was first spotted by locals at a house in the village, after which they informed forest authorities and snake catchers.

Later, forest officials and a snake catcher jointly rescued the python and sent it for medical observation before sending it into the wild.
