Rajasthan: 7 children die due to unknown illness in Sirohi

Sirohi (Rajasthan): At least seven children died in the Sirohi area of Rajasthan due to an unknown ailment.

According to reports, A medical team consisting of doctors from the block to the state level has reached the area and is trying to determine the exact cause of the deaths.

It may be mentioned that the families of the children informed that the children had consumed packaged iced drinks sold by local vendors in plastic pipes the previous night and from the next morning, they started feeling unwell.

However, on the other hand Rajasthan health minister Parsadi Lal Meena said the children were died after got infected with some viral infection and not because of consuming packaged ice drinks.

“On the basis of a talk with the collector, it was discovered that 7 children have died after catching a viral infection,” Meena was reported by ANI as saying.

Following the deaths of three youngsters in the district on Thursday, district collector Dr. Bhanwar Lal announced that a survey was being performed in the region to determine the cause of the children’s unexpected deaths.
