Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Ten Assam students safely reach India

Guwahati: Ten more from Assam who were stuck in Ukraine have been evacuated by the Ministry of External Affairs and they have arrived in New Delhi on Thrusday.

Three students arrived at the Delhi airport this morning at around at 5.30 am while six other students arrived at Hindon airport (Ghaziabad) from Ukraine.

Mukul Doshi, Wakib Amin Mazumdar, Anshul Bhartia, Jintu Phukan , Nishikesh Kaushik, Mohammed Pakeez Ahmed of Mangaldoi, Himjyoti Talukdar of Sualkuchi, Reya Sharma Thakur of Dibrugarh, Mohammed Nishar Alam and  Amitesh Nath of Guwahati are among the students who have been evacuated today.

On their arrival, authorities from Assam Bhawan greeted them.

The students have been placed in Assam House.

Meanwhile, the authorities will arrange their air travel accordingly.
