Shikhar Dhawan becomes fourth Indian batsman to score 5000 runs in IPL

Star Indian batsman Shikar Dhawan became the fourth Indian batsman to score 5,000 runs in IPL. In a much important match against Kings XI Punjab the Delhi opener Shikhar Dhawan played a mesmerizing unbeaten 106 runs of 61 balls. He became the fourth batsman to do so after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and David Warner.

In the post match conference Shikhar Dhawan said ” he wasn’t aware of the record he created, Dhawan responded when asked if he knew that he was the first man in IPL to score two consecutive centuries and also 5000 runs in IPL”.
