Northeast Desk, 17th April: One person died on the spot while four others sustained severe injuries after an Alto car collided with a truck in Sikkim’s Rangpo.
The incident occurred near ATTC Bardang.
The accident took place on the Singtam Rangpo Highway, prompted a swift response from the Singtam Rangpo Highway Patrol team.
They immediately arrived to the scene, transporting the injured to Singtam Hospital for urgent medical attention.
In addition to attending to the victims, the highway patrol team worked diligently to restore traffic flow in the area, ensuring minimal disruption despite the unfortunate incident.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision as efforts continue to support the injured and their families during this difficult time.
