Six Assam Youths On Their Way To Join ULFA-I Arrested in Nagaland

Guwahati: It is indeed a big breakthrough for the police officials after six youths hailing from Assam were arrested who were on their way to join the banned insurgent outfit United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I). 

The six youths were arrested in Nagaland.

According to reports, the youths were heading towards Myanmar from Mon district of Nagaland.

They were reportedly arrested before they could cross the international border.

The arrested youths have been identified as Anand Moran, Parmanand Bora, Jayanta Gogoi, Mon Baruah, Biplab Gogoi and Jiten Gogoi.

Moreover, police also arrested a linkman of the militant outfit in connection to it.

The linkman has been identified as Biman Baruah. 

Further investigation is on.
