Third test play halted as Australian crowd abuses Mohammed Siraj

The fourth day’s play in Sydney test between India and Australia was halted after a crowd section started abusing Team India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj. The Team India stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane and Mohammed Siraj had a word with the umpires after which the police intervened.

The Police then kicked some spectators out of the stadium and play resumed afterwards. During the third day’s play at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Indian fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah had to face severe racial abuses from some drunk Australian supporters.
