Guwahati: As many as three people were allegedly shot dead by unidentified armed militants along the Assam-Arunachal Border.
The incident took place at Tinsukia’s Ledo’s Tamulbari area between Phinberu and Birangkhana on Monday.
United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) is reportedly suspected to be involved in the attack.
The three people may have also been murdered because they were security force informants. They are accused of spying on ULFA-I cadre Uday Asom and informing the security personnel of different facts about him.
