Guwahati: A traffic policeman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bhangagarh police station of Guwahati on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Biplab Sinha who is a resident of Goalpara district of Assam. He was posted at the Bhangagarh Police Station.
According to reports, Sinha was found dead in his bed inside the station premises.
Sinha reportedly was on duty on Thursday evening. He was working in the Traffic Department of the Bhangagarh Police Station.
Meanwhile police have sent the body for post-mortem reports.
However, the reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.
