Guwahati: A cadre belonging to the banned United Liberation Front of Asom – Independent (ULFA-I) surrendered before Assam police on February 22.
The cadre has been identified as Ranjit Asom alias Bikram Gogoi.
As per reports, Ranjit Asom informed his family about his decision to surrender following which he surrendered himself to the police.
Currently, ULFA-I cadre is under police custody.
