UP: 15 including 7 children killed during road accident in Kasganj

National Desk, 24th February: In a tragic incident, fifteen individuals including seven children lost their lives after the vehicle they were traveling in plunged into a pond in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh on February 24.

The victims, who were on a pilgrimage to Kadarganj, were involved in the accident, resulting in this heartbreaking loss of lives.

Expressing profound sorrow over the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath immediately announced compensation for the affected families.

A sum of Rs 2 lakh each is pledged for those who lost their lives, with an additional Rs 50,000 each provided for the injured.

The pilgrims were on their way to Kadarganj when the unfortunate accident occurred.

It needs to mention that Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances to ascertain the cause behind the accident.
