Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police arrested two women in Guwahati on Monday.
The two arrestees identified as Suhitam Begum (19) & Sakina Begum (30) were arrested near Meghdoot Hall in the city.
In an operation against drugs, the police recovered 12 vials of Heroin and seized one mobile phone from their possession.
The police officials informed that the suspected heroin was hidden in a baby’s diaper.
Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
