Guwahati, 27th February: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spearheaded a bike rally from Kareng Eco camp to Majuli on February 27, culminating in the distribution of land pattas to beneficiaries.
A fervent crowd greeted CM Sarma as he rode flanked by supporters, showcasing widespread enthusiasm for his leadership.
Leading the rally, CM Sarma traversed the Bogibeel-Majuli connecting road, a testament to the progress made under the Assam Mala initiative.
Later in the day, the chief minister will distribute land pattas to residents of Majuli and Biswanath. A total of 10,932 individuals in Majuli and 8,949 in Gohpur will receive these land titles, empowering them with property ownership.
