Guwahati: Dhing Express Hima Das who recently did not qualify for the Tokyo Olympics has now claimed that she will make a comeback being much stronger in the future events.
Hima, known to be one of the strongest athletes from India or to be precise, Assam was injured while she was running in the 100m relay at the National Senior Inter-State Athletics Championships which was held in Patiala in June.
“I will miss my first Olympics due to untimely injury when I was close to achieving the qualification standard in my new event 100m and 200m”, Hima tweeted.
She further added, “I would like to thank my coaches, support staff and my teammates for their continuous support. But I will make a strong comeback and looking forward to Commonwealth Games 2022, Asian Games 2022 and World Championship 2022.”
