Guwahati: A youth was found dead at Hotel Paradise Inn in Sijubari of Guwahati’s Hatigaon on Wednesday.
The youth has been identified as Dhrubajyoti Deka who is a resident of Dimu village in Kamrup district. He was an employee of a finance company.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, Deka along with two others went into the hotel and had a party in the hotel bar and also spent his night with three girls in the hotel.
Reportedly, Dhrubajyoti was discovered death in Room 108 of the hotel after the party.
However, police reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
Police officials also detained Devraj and Biki who accompanied Dhrubajyoti in the hotel.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage of the six youngsters, including Dhrubajyoti was captured entering the hotel.
Furthermore, the girls are absconding after the incident was reported.
It has also been revealed that a broker handed the three youngsters the images of the girls and summoned them to the hotel, although the broker’s identity is yet to be ascertained.
