Karnataka: At least six people were arrested and 12 detained in Bajrang Dal activist murder case in Shivamogga, Karnataka.
The six arrestees were identified as Mohammed Kashif, Sayed Nadeem, Afsifullah Khan, Rehan Sharef, Nihan, Abdul Afnan.
Meanwhile, Curfew extended in the district, movement allowed from 6 am -9 am. Section 144 extended by two more 2 days, till Friday morning.
Moreover, Deputy Commissioner of Shivamogga, Selvamani R informed that Schools will remain shut during these days
It may be mentioned that a 26-year-old Bajrang Dal activist was stabbed to death in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district, while the government imposed prohibitory orders for two days and declared a vacation for schools and institutions on Monday, after the tension.
Harsha was allegedly assaulted by unknown perpetrators on Sunday night in Bharathi Colony’s Ravi Varma alley, they claimed.
