Arunachal to get new Medical College in Namsai

Guwahati: The Central Government has assured to construct one more medical college in Arunachal Pradesh and the targeted location will be in the Namsai district of the state.

Officials from the state health department informed that the medical college will be constructed in the Namsai district of the state.

As of now, there is only one medical college in Arunachal Pradesh named Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) at Naharlagun.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya assured to set up another medical college in the state after a discussion with a team including Arunachal’s Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang.

As per reports, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu also met Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday to discuss the matter.
