Guwahati: A minor girl has gone missing after she allegedly jumped into a river in Dhubri district of Assam on Monday.
The deceased identified as Shivani Rai, who was a student of Class 10.
According to reports, Shivani leapt into the Gadadhar River from a bridge in Tamarhat and then vanished.
Meanwhile, police arrived on the spot to assess the situation.
Police officials suspect that the minor has committed suicide.
However, police further added that they are working to find her.
