Guwahati, 28th April: In a frightening occurrence near Asina police station on the national highway, a night bus narrowly dodged a fatal accident after being targeted by unidentified miscreants who hurled stones.
The bus, identified as Trident Travels bearing registration number AS 01 QC 8837, was traveling from Jorhat to Guwahati when the assailants launched their attack around 1:30 AM.
Eyewitnesses recounted the incident involving three young men who swiftly fled the scene after perpetrating the crime.
Although the perpetrators managed to escape, the incident resulted in minor injuries to three passengers, including a child.
Law enforcement promptly responded, arriving at the scene to assess the situation and launch an investigation to apprehend the responsible individuals behind this reckless act.
