Guwahati: One person has been arrested for allegedly being involved in the theft of batteries by the Guwahati police on Friday.
The accused identified as Majibur Rahman who is a resident of Barpeta Road of Assam.
The officials further informed that three batteries of a Fire Brigade Vehicle have been recovered from the accused.
The news was shared by the official Instagram account of the Guwahati police.
The Guwahati police posted, “An EGPD team from Dispur PS arrested one Majibur Rahman (22) of Barpeta Road for theft & robbery. 3 batteries of a Fire Brigade Vehicle, stolen by him were recovered.”
