Guwahati: A teacher of a private school has been placed under suspension for allegedly sexually abusing a minor female student in Bajali district of Assam.
The incident took place in the Pathsala town of the district.
The teacher has been identified as Midul Choudhary.
According to reports, Choudhary has been suspended after an audio tape of his interaction with a kid went viral on social media.
The victim girl questioned the teacher who reportedly abused her physically in class in the audio tape that went viral.
However, she later filed a complaint and the teacher was suspended as a result.
During the conversation, the accused teacher Choudhary inquired as to why a complaint had been lodged against him. He also tried to hide his mistakes by claiming that his motives were good and that he had a family to feed.
Meanwhile, the victim screamed at the teacher for behaving inappropriately with her.
The school authorities have further informed that the teacher in the viral audio tape was a science teacher and he was suspended as a result of his actions.
