Assam: PM Modi to visit Dibrugarh, CM Sarma reviews preparation
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the Khanikar Police Reserve area ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Dibrugarh district on April 28.
Himanta Biswa Sarma requested that officials take steps to eliminate all issues in order for the event to run well.
Sarma and other ministers also inspected the Cancer Hospital being developed by the Cancer Care Foundation in Dibrugarh.
With doctors and construction engineers, Chief Minister Sarma reviewed the finishing touches being applied to the facility.
During his visit to Assam, PM Modi will inaugurate seven of the state’s ten cancer hospitals and lay the groundwork for another seven.
It may be mentioned that Sarma met with Biswajit Pegu, the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh, and other state government officials, asking them to take all necessary steps to ensure that the prime minister’s visit is a huge success.
