Bigg Boss 18 Concludes with Karan Veer Mehra as Champion, Arunachal Pradesh’s Chum Darang Secures Fifth Place
Itanagar: The highly anticipated finale of Bigg Boss 18 crowned Karan Veer Mehra as the winner, while Arunachal Pradesh’s own Chum Darang, known for her role in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, secured an impressive fifth-place finish. The grand finale, which aired on Colors TV, witnessed an outpouring of support for Darang from across the Northeast, including a special message of encouragement from Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
“Reaching the top 5 feels like being a winner already. The love I’m receiving is still sinking in,” expressed Darang, reflecting on her remarkable journey. Her participation in the show captivated viewers as she gracefully balanced household responsibilities with her warm and determined personality.

The star-studded finale featured a special appearance by Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, marking his debut on the show, alongside Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, who promoted their upcoming film ‘Loveyapaa’.
Vivian DSena emerged as the first runner-up, followed by Rajat Dalal in third place and Avinash Mishra in fourth. Eisha Singh was the first finalist to be eliminated.
The season, which was simultaneously streamed on JioCinema, saw Darang become a fan favorite, with her authentic personality and strong gameplay garnering significant support from viewers nationwide.
