Guwahati, 13th September: A class 3 student was reportedly kidnapped from Montessori Jatiya Vidyalaya in Amguri, Assam’s Sivasagar district. The incident occurred when three unidentified individuals, including a woman, entered the classroom during a class and forcibly took the boy away. The teacher was allegedly mistreated when she attempted to intervene.
The abducted student has been identified as Anikit Duara. The school authorities and the boy’s father have filed complaints with the local police.
