Guwahati, 13th September: A woman named Shivani Karmakar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-law’s residence in Assam’s Karimganj district.
She was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. Her husband claimed it was a suicide, but injury marks on her body raised suspicions.
Several lacerations and cuts were noticed, leading family members to suspect foul play. Police and the District Magistrate are investigating the case.
