Principal of Dhemaji Commerce College Suspended for Intoxication on Campus

Guwahati, 13th September: The Principal-in-charge of Dhemaji Commerce College has been suspended after being found intoxicated inside the campus. The suspension was ordered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam.

During the suspension period, the principal, Biren Chandra Konwar, will receive subsistence allowance. He has also been restricted to his headquarters in Dhemaji and will require approval to leave without the competent authority’s permission.
