Guwahati: A young girl was found dead in her hostel room at a private college in Goalpara district of Assam.
The incident took place in the Bhalukdubi village of the district.
The deceased girl was a resident of the Sardarvita area in Tarangapur and was a first-year student at the Aurora Academy.
According to reports, the girl was discovered dead inside her hostel room, hanging from the ceiling, and her death was ruled a suicide.
However, no suicide note was discovered.
According to officials, there was no letter left behind so they don’t know why she went to such lengths.
The event is being investigated by the police, who are looking for any signs of wrongdoing.
